April 1, 2005 InsidEar Special Report: InsidEar Radio
InsidEar Radio is here!
First I would like to thank the regular readers of the "InsidEar Reports" (both of you). I am grateful for your continued interest in this site.
Many of the "other" Disneyland fan sites also spend a lot of time discussing rumors and possible upcoming events. The problem is that you can never tell which of their rumors are true and which ones will never see that light of day. Don't let the other sites confuse you about what the real facts are -- let us do that.
InsidEar Radio is proud to be celebrating it's 51st year of continuous broadcasting of "Inside" Disneyland information. Most of these broadcasts remain sealed in the InsidEar Vault. We have the combination written on a piece of paper tucked inside a brown envelope, unfortunately it too is locked inside the vault. However we were lucky enough to find a copy of our very first broadcast, from July 16, 1954, when we moved the sofa last week. You will note that the report was given by a very young, nervous reporter whom you all know and revere as "The InsidEar."
Today we also have a special series of live reports from InsidEar Radio where "yours truly" makes his way behind the scenes at Disneyland to report first hand on current happenings at the Submarines, inside the Matterhorn, with progress on the Pirates After Dark addition, and in the newly refurbished Space Mountain. So tune in and see (sic.) for yourself!
Enjoy the show!
