Did you know that Mickey Mouse's ears are so big so that he can hear the Cheshire Cat coming?

I have heard that the clock in the corridor of doors was detailed by a mentally retarded individual. When his superiors saw that he had painted a 13 where the 12 should have been, they were either too kind or too embarassed to have him paint the clock again.

i am a former hm cm, 4 years to be exact. and we were forever being asked if there was a murder in the mansion. they say that a cm freaked out on a ride through (that's what cm's do when we get bored..go on the ride and find things wrong). the cm repeatedly told a guest to sit down, they didn't, so the cm jumped out of the buggy and beat the guest to death with a flashlight. not true! but it made me laugh. so they say that the cm and the guest are always finding reasons for the ride to go down... i love ap rumours....

i hope this one made you chuckle as it did i the first time i heard it. but one the other hand, the one rumour about the little boy in the red hat is true. he likes the unload area and loves to play in the ballroom.so watch out for timmy. he's harmless. me and some of my other former cm's have had personal encounters with him. but i'll tell you that later if you'd like to know.

to the contrary there was another child born in the expanding room in i believe it was 02. her water broke and my bf at the time was in that room, i was in the other. he called me and was asking what to do. he had to stop it and the meds came in to help deliver the baby.the whole family got life-time passes to the park, but not to dca. cheap-o's. so you can add that to the ledgend.

the hearst is an actual hearst that was purchased from the family of a 1920's film star (can't remeber his name) he was taken to the graveyard in it. disney purchased it from the family for a great amount because they didn't know what to do with it. so it's true, just not to the name.

The reason that Mickey, Minnie, and other characters have such big heads is that the people inside them have two heads.

As you may be aware, the addition of the Mickey hand and wand to the side of Spaceship Earth in Epcot for the millenial celebration was controversial among Disney purists. Many think the wand is out of place or makes the iconic sphere look lopsided. Well, recently-released promotional materials do not show the wand, and indeed seem to go out of their way to display only the sphere of Spaceship Earth without including its attachment. This has led many to conclude that Disney is building a duplicate Epcot park without the wand, so as to allow fans a choice.

In a similar story, promo materials for Disney-MGM Studios for several years have airbrushed out or digitally removed any reference to the "MGM" portion of the name in photos and videos of park signage. This confirms the long-held belief that Disney promotional staff members have way too much time on their hands.

[Regarding the changes to the Haunted Mansion attraction,] Disneyland has since removed the April/December portrait due to a law suit released by Vanity Fair. The Catwoman portrait was altered from a Panther to a White Tiger to respect Sigfree and Roy's future deaths.

I always wondered, in the scene when Snow-White is running through the forrest, with the logs turning into alligators and the trees having those freaky looking eyes. Is it true the drawer for that scene was on an acid trip?

Our understanding is that no drugs were involved, only pure, natural sleep-depravation.
